health care like canada - where you have to wait months for an MRI?
i agree health care should be avail. for all - but not at the expense of degrading the care of those who currently have great health care
I had to wait one month for mine (in Palo Alto, California), even though I supposedly had the best health insurance money could buy.
I have decent healthcare but if the only way to give better healthcare to others is for mine to become not quite so great, then that is what we should do.
Why so enamored with 2 countries where universal healthcare works less-well, i.e. Canada (private health care is banned, so you go to the US to have urgent operations) and UK (socialized medicine, doctors work as employees of the govt)?

Why not actually look for countries where universal healthcare actually works better, i.e. France, Germany, Japan, and Singapore and copy them? Design matters.
